This is a truly revolutionary project, and not only for Russian architecture. Skyscrapers stand spectacularly, like candles on a rich table, where a house in the form of a ring rises with a "festive cake" in the center of the "Solnechnaya Sistema" residential complex (Khimki). Probably, the architect was inspired when designing it with ancient Roman views - it turned out to be an amphitheater with a green courtyard of one hundred square meters inside. This is the core, the luminary, the Sun, from which the streets go out, on which the rest of the house-planets are located. It is not so often you can admire the ring-shaped buildings, even in Moscow there are only two of them, and those are from the distant seventies, made of panels in nine floors.
Each house-planet has its own courtyard. Of course, according to the principle of a clear separation of the courtyard and street space, each microdistrict is now being built, quarterly buildings have been preserved in the "Solar System" residential complex. At the same time, the houses are located in such a way that each courtyard seemed to have expanded its boundaries and became much larger. The facades are extremely interesting. They are, as it were, divided into different levels... The first level - the lower one - is not very high, it is distinguished by multi-colored facades, airy balconies, arches, columns and many other details. The second tier recedes backward, from below the walking people can see it only fragmentarily. Here, the tones are calmer, which lead to the third - upper - level. It is absolutely laconic in style, because it is in the background and is not visible at all from below - the ledges interfere with the view. It is perceived as a background to the first two levels. But only during the day. When dusk falls and lights flash in the windows, the third level becomes the most beautiful, like a starry sky. It can be said with good reason that over the past year things have moved off dead center. According to the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, the obligations to complete the construction of all long-term construction projects of the Urban Group were undertaken by the Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Shareholders. The necessary budgetary funding has been secured. A number of houses were commissioned this year and people were able to get the keys to their apartments. Among them are the equity holders of the "Solar System".
Currently, there is certainty regarding this LCD. There is a roadmap and construction schedule for all buildings. In May of this year, permits were obtained for the commissioning of houses No. 5 and 6.1. For the rest of the buildings, the situation at the end of September is as follows.
Buildings 4 and 8 are at a high stage of readiness. Facade, roofing and interior works are being completed, installation is in progress engineering networks and elevator equipment. Improvement of the territory has begun. It is planned that the process of putting houses into operation will last from November this year to January next. The keys are promised to people just in January. There is still time, and the builders expect to meet. True, it is not entirely clear when the improvement is planned, after all, the winter period will begin soon and the conditions will not be the best.
The two last remaining houses - building 2, building 2 and building 7 - have not yet begun to be built, only the preparation of the territory for construction is underway. The deadline for putting these houses into operation is July 2021. With uninterrupted financing (and there are no problems with this now, since the budget finances), there is quite enough time. So there is no need to fear new delays yet.
We have already written about all the advantages and disadvantages of the project in the previous opinions of the portal. The houses turned out to be nice, the landscaping is also at its best. Of the comments pointed out by Vkontakte equity holders, it is worth mentioning the lack of parking spaces, as well as the occasional interruptions in the supply of cold and hot water. And of course, the problem of social infrastructure is still acute. Neighboring schools and kindergartens in Khimki are overloaded, some residents take their children to study in Moscow. Meanwhile, the school as part of the "Solar System", which the city authorities promised to hand over in May last year, has not yet been completed. Externally, it looks almost finished, but the internal work is not completed. It is possible that the school will open by the next academic year, but there is no exact information yet.
The vast majority of apartments in the "Solar System" have been sold. Sales are currently closed. For those who are interested in local housing, it makes sense to pay attention to the private announcements of the sale from the owners. There are a lot of them. The closest alternative is the residential complex "Two capitals", which is being built. The rest of the new buildings east of the Leningradskoye Highway are located closer to the Moscow. These are the residential complex "Aurora (Khimki)", the residential complex "Mayak", built by the "Mayak" company, the residential complex "On Leninsky Prospekt" from "Khimki SMU MOIS-1" and the residential complex "Rechnoy" - however, the last project is now in question. Of the minuses, it's not easy ecological situation, complex transport situation(eternal traffic jams on Leningradka, jam-packed electric trains and the "eternal" overground metro project), as well as the remoteness of social facilities (the nearest ones are located behind the Leningradskoe highway). Over time, when social facilities planned as part of the residential complex appear, the new settlers will have fewer problems. But for now, all this is in the future.
Layouts in "Solar system" very diverse, there are many non-standard options. The apartment building allows us to consider this residential complex as suitable for different groups of buyers. And yet, we have to admit that despite the advantages of the project, about the prospects comfortable stay here it will be possible to speak depending on whether the transport issue will be resolved, as well as how quickly the zone of industrial, warehouse and other non-residential objects will be settled, which approaches the residential complex from all sides. Otherwise, it will be more difficult to compete with new buildings in the central part of Khimki. East of the Leningradskoe highway, next to "Solar system" there is only one competitor -. But there are many of them beyond the track, for different tastes and wallets: Mendeleev, Novokurkino, Zhuravlik,. Moreover, prices are about the same everywhere, so those who want to settle in Khimki have a choice.

A new building on the Leningradskoe highway, not far from Khimki, is being built surrounded by an industrial and warehouse complex. There are, indeed, many warehouses here, but there are almost no enterprises, so the proximity to the industrial zone is not as critical as it might seem at first glance. However, this does not negate the fact that residential neighborhoods and social infrastructure are located quite far away. The construction is carried out according to the principle of the KOT, that is, everything necessary for life should appear within the boundaries of the residential area under construction. However, construction is being carried out in two phases, and those who move in first will have to wait.
Another disadvantage is the inevitably large number of freight vehicles due to the proximity to warehouses. Naturally, trucks will not ply on the territory of the complex, but such an intensive movement undoubtedly affects the general ecological situation. In addition, there are two power lines operating nearby.
