What is intraday in the bank. What is intraday

What is intraday.

Intraday is intraday trading, i.e. positions are not rolled over to the next day.

Most often in intraday trading, five minutes are used, but another time frame is also possible.

Intraday trading is certainly based on technical analysis... But other factors are also important, such as psychology and intuition. The ability to calculate in advance not only the behavior of quotes from a technical point of view, but also to take into account possible interference in the course of trading by a market maker or large players. Also, do not forget that the direction and intensity of movement can be influenced by news (such movements are usually short-term in nature (but not always), while the price can fall very quickly and also quickly rise, so trading on news volatility is unjustified risky). Since intraday trading is purely speculative, in fact, the most important factor in achieving good returns is high volatility.

It is widely believed in the trading community that intraday, or day trading, or intraday trading, is a rather complex type of exchange game. In particular, because within one trading session there are often no significant levels of support and resistance. Accordingly, it is necessary to locally guess the point from which the market will go up or down, depending on which position is planned to be opened - long or short. And this is difficult. On the same trading days, where there are significant levels, you should not play short-term - you need to form medium-term or long-term positions. But there are much fewer such significant days than ordinary days or, as they are also called, flat, unprincipled days, when intraday is the only way to make money.

Trades instead of stocks

Probably, the opinion about the complexity of intraday trading is based on the stereotype that intraday involves a large number of transactions with multiple reversals, averaging, “pyramiding” and in general is a rather nerve-racking exercise. However, there are different ways intraday trading - intense and not very. There are a lot of strategies used. Someone actively uses gaps and external background, someone is guided by levels and channels, but almost everyone has one thing in common - closing positions at the end of the trading session. In our opinion, this is the main advantage of intraday trading: when trading within a day, you cut off the influence of the external background on your positions in the long term longer than one trading session, and always control your position, holding which is from a minute (if a protective stop is triggered -order) up to several hours.

As a rule, a novice trader actively perceives information from specialized media. Respected people on TV usually advise beginners to refrain from active trading, fearing the complexity and risks, since this requires a lot of experience and extensive knowledge, and they recommend investing with a distant horizon and listening to stock analysts. There is, of course, a rationale in such advice, but after the sad events of the summer and autumn of 2008, it is somehow scary to invest even in the medium term: the risk of getting stuck in paper for months or even years is too great. If before the crisis such recommendations were popular, now they continue to be followed either by newcomers who have not gone through the clearing of the depot by the crisis, or simply lucky.

Intraday can be thought of as an opportunity to make money on the stock exchange, not related to investments in stocks. Indeed, trading within the day, you need to abstract from the very concept of a stock, its underestimation or overestimation, fundamental indicators companies and industry prospects. When discussing these topics, analysts pay attention to a variety of securities. It is even difficult to imagine that from this stream of information the average investor will be able to choose something useful for himself.

We propose to consider intraday as an opportunity to invest not in stocks, but in trades, that is, in specific movements - from the entry point to the intended target. Let's say you can invest in a trade from 50 to 55 rubles. and if successful, get 5 rubles. from each contract. It's simple. You need to spend time not reading analytics, but studying the basics and nature of trades, where they come from and how they happen. Once you learn to see the trade from one level to the next, you will start making profitable trades.

The technique that will help you eventually learn to see trades can be different. Successful traders are a diverse public. Someone bets on Ichimoku and applies this technique, honing their skills for years, someone works according to Elliott, and others are looking for underestimated ideas in low-liquid stocks. Every successful trader finds his own way not to become plankton for institutions, professional participants the market, which are at the top of the exchange "food" chain. The rules presented below will allow us to gradually, but regularly outplay the market sharks and in the long term show a stable yield curve with 0.5-1% profit per trading session. The rules are simple: you need to see the moment when the mood of the participants changes from sell to buy or vice versa, and enter a position by placing a short “stop”.

Fundamental rules

We do not focus on trends, do not buy when it rises, and do not sell when it falls. The intraday technique we use is, in fact, counter-trend trading at extreme points. A movement of an average and, all the more, a strong amplitude is considered as a signal to enter in the opposite direction. In most cases, the stock price within the day reaches pivot points (extremes), forming entry signals of varying degrees of clarity. Of course, in our market there are days that can be called days of "dullness" and "dullness", when prices are driven by emotions rather than cold calculation. In such periods, only short "stops" and further observation from the side can save.

The clarity of the signal depends on many factors, but the most important of them are the dynamics of the previous movement, the readings of the indicators in their totality, as well as the technical picture created by the methods of graphical analysis. The signal becomes especially clear at the moment of "overheating" according to indicators, if the price is near the level of local support or resistance.

A special role in intraday trading is played by "stops", which help to neutralize the consequences of an unsuccessful entry with little blood. (see graph 1)... We advocate a short stop order of 0.20-0.25% of the stock price. It can be very uncomfortable if the "stops" are constantly knocked out, but in such a situation, strict adherence to the system helps. You need to understand that “moose” following “footsteps” is a part of the system, which, in general, gives a profit. The emotional component must be eliminated by turning on the robot in the head.

One of the most common mistakes of a psychological nature is the movement of the “stop” as the price approaches it. We often practice the opposite procedure. When approaching the “stop”, we build up the position, while simultaneously increasing the number of shares in the stop order, which remains at the same price mark. If the “stop” is triggered, then the loss on the added positions turns out to be insignificant, and it is more than compensated by the profit obtained if the price reverses before reaching the “stop”.

Enter exit

In the morning before the start of trading, we assess the external background, paying attention to the values of oil futures and major international indices... This gives a rough understanding of what to expect from the market during the day and in the short term, but nothing more. We practically do not pay attention to news coming out during the day and do not use them in the game. If important data appears, it is better to wait out in the cache, the reaction is usually sharp and short-term. To make trading decisions, as noted above, we use indicators, correlating their signals with the technical picture of the instrument. Let us describe in stages the picture of an ideal entrance ( see graph 2).

  1. We are waiting for the Stochastic and Williams% indicators in the zone we need (timeframes - 3, 10, 15 minutes; 60 minutes - as a strong confirmation). It is good if the price is still adequate, and the indicated indicators have already turned their "tails" in the right direction.
  2. Switch to Bollinger (timeframes - 15 and 60 minutes) and see if the price is testing significant levels. If testing, then this is an additional confirmation of the signal.
  3. We look at AO and AC (timeframes - 3, 10, 15 minutes). If the indicators confidently turn red, and the length of the lines, according to statistics, is close to the maximum, this is almost an ideal entry. The higher the height ("short") or depth of the lines ("long"), the clearer the signal. If there is confirmation on the 60-minute timeframe, then you can think about moving positions through the night.
  4. Be sure to keep before our eyes the latest relevant charts for the "chip" with which we work in order to visually represent trends, levels and adequately perceive the place where the price is located. Does our deal fit into the schedule or not? Is it graphically visible that movement in the direction we need is really possible from this level? Analyzing an entry on a price chart is the final touch.

Exit is recommended in parts upon reaching a certain price level. When working with a Sberbank share, for example, after 50 kopecks. in our direction we throw off "shoulders", after 70 kopecks. - we fix 30%, 1 rub. - we fix 50%, 1.2 rubles. - close the position completely. Alternatively, after a 50% fix, you can move the “stop” into the positive zone and wait for the end of trading.

Rosneft in focus

Much also depends on the nature of the action. It is known that Sberbank is a more dynamic security relative to other blue chips and its movements are more sweeping. LUKoil is often thoughtful and subject to corporate news movements. Gazprom, with its large free float and constant hopes of the trading community for belated growth, has recently been falling more readily within the day than growing. Rosneft is doing good work on triangles and channels. Sberbank is the most volatile.

Thus, over time for individual shares additional indicators emerge. Let's consider the improved entry parameters using the example of Rosneft. In this action, we noted the reversal pattern repeating over and over again. (see graph 3)... Accordingly, the tactics when entering and placing a “stop” is adjusted in accordance with the characteristics of the instrument.

  1. We are waiting for the signals of the indicators described above.
  2. We enter after a white candle appears after the red candle.
  3. We set a short stop below the low of the red candle. Statistics show that such a stop order is rarely triggered.

An additional signal for a reversal and entry into a long position in Rosneft shares is the so-called injection (see graph 5)... The “syringe” in Rosneft is when a stock has found its local minimum, but does not push off from it immediately, and as it climbs, it starts casting long shadows of candles that “prick” stop orders of “longists”. This foreshadows a sharp takeaway: a major player collects "stops" and does not want to drag along many "fellow travelers", or so-called passengers.

Tips for Young Fighters

  1. There is nothing better than practice.
  2. If you do not trade often, you will not be able to use intraday trading at the proper level. Any significant absence from the stock exchange will knock you out of the saddle. The sense of the market, the sense of price movement disappears.
  3. Thinking quickly when seconds are counting is very important. If you are a phlegmatic person, then you will definitely have difficulty making decisions, and you will not become an independent intraday person.
  4. You need to strive to become a “cold-blooded killer”. You should not be distracted either by the “sight of blood”, or by failures, or by the external background of everyday life. Psychology - 90% success. You must understand that a trader's lifestyle is a great physical limitation, as well as a colossal psychological load, and the more money you have, the less health.

So hello.

Knowing a lot about OJSC AKB Avangard - tk. I worked in this bank, and also taking into account my banking experience for more than 18 years, I will reveal to you a lot of interesting things about him, which in the future will allow potential clients of the bank and future applicants not to fall for his tricks.

For retail clients:

1) there is no mortgage and consumer lending in the bank (except for employees within the framework of salary projects) - which is a huge disadvantage for the bank, which positions itself as a "universal" bank;

2) grace period 200 days credit cards- be careful ... do not forget to make the minimum payment on a monthly basis, so as not to pay later for six months the accrued interest, because any even valid reason for not making the minimum payment will not be the basis for not writing off interest;

3) air tickets - buy better on other sites, because often the price on the bank's website is higher, because he earns the commission that you pay;

4) car loans - the stated rate is 13% + 2% (commission for withdrawing cash from the card) because few car dealerships accept cards as payment. Total rate is 15%.

5) deposit rates - maximum 9% - low rate for a bank with a rating below 50;

6) there are practically no ATMs in the regions, and very few in Moscow, which, in turn, do not accept cash (cash-in);

7) miles that the bank credits when paying with Airbonus cards are less profitable compared to any co-branding projects of the same Aeroflot;

In addition to all of the above, I would like to note that the bank behaves disgracefully with clients who have made even a minimal delay on a card or car loan. The security service of the bank, as well as the collection agencies with which the bank works, will do everything so that your relatives and employers know about this, which thereby can have a very negative impact on you.

For corporate clients:

1) intraday commission 0.075% - i.e. for companies that are accustomed to using funds that have come "day in day", it is completely unprofitable;

2) the declared overdraft rate is from 7% to 13%, in fact, it turns out to be more than 20%, since the bank has a commission for the outstanding balance at the end of the month in the amount of 0.75% of the amount owed;

3) the bank does not lend against the security of goods in circulation;

4) underestimates strongly market value pledged property, and then applies another discount of up to 70%;

5) when lending is not assessed - reputation, name of the company, its financial indicators, but only collateral;

6) the maximum loan term is only 5 years;

7) rate - at least 15% per annum;

8) the term for consideration of the application is at least a month;

9) salary project - an insignificant number of ATMs in Moscow and the regions;

10) acquiring - commission from 1.7% + monthly terminal rental from 550 rubles ... far from attractive conditions;

11) low rates of raising funds legal entities- only 8%.

For applicants:

1) Huge staff turnover throughout the country. The selection of the best candidates is literally put on the "conveyor belt", which can be easily seen on hh.ru .;

2) Fix wages much less in the employment contract than is stipulated during the interview;

3) Quarterly bonuses are paid in "black";

4) Lack of additional medical insurance.

If all of the above facts do not bother you - then it’s time to be in the "VANGUARD" ...)

Intraday trading is a market strategy that involves opening and closing deals within a trading day or session. Usually a trader opens several orders during one trading session. The goal is to take the maximum profit, which is the result of small profits from many completed short-term trades. For work, they use automatic or manual tools and strategies, which are called scalping. Regardless of the systems and indicators used, all open orders must be closed at the end of the session or day.

The advantages of intraday trading:

  1. Lack of large drawdowns. The scalper opens positions with minimal stops and profits. He does not expect that in a few days the trend will change the direction of movement and a losing position will turn into a profitable one.
  2. Simple money management. Due to the absence of large drawdowns, capital management is much easier. A trader always knows how much he will earn or lose during the trading day, so he can easily calculate the optimal volumes of his trades.
  3. It is easy to find out the profitability of the strategy used. All trades are closed at the end of the day, so the trader has the opportunity to carefully analyze his work.
  4. The risk of losing the entire deposit is minimal... Scalping strategies involve the use of closely spaced stop orders that will not allow large losses.
  5. No commissions for the transfer of open positions to the next day.

The main advantage of intraday trading is the profit taken at the end of the day. Compared to the volume of positions taken off, the profit can be very large. Professional traders in successful trading sessions manage to make money on all price movements. That is, if the price has passed 20 points against the trend and 40 points along the trend, then the scalper can pick up almost all 60 points at 5-10 per trade. Because of this, profitability trading strategy can be very high.

Cons of intraday trading:

  1. The need to constantly monitor the market... Even if a trader uses an automated trading strategy, he should not be away from the monitor for a long time. Trades are opened and closed very quickly, the market changes direction abruptly and unexpectedly. You need to catch good moments and react quickly to them.
  2. There is no way to avoid unpredictable pullbacks. The peculiarities of intraday trading do not allow a trader to avoid pullbacks in a drawdown, waiting for the trend to continue moving.
  3. The difficulty of determining the further movement of quotations. Many consider scalping strategies to be a game of market noise. They are partly right. Any major purchase of an asset can trigger an unpredictable deep pullback that will close the scalper's trades at a loss.
  4. Requires endurance and accurate planning of all actions.

Despite the difficulty of working with scalping strategies, many beginners and experienced traders prefer to trade intraday. For intraday trading, a lot of indicators, advisors, scripts have been developed to analyze and accelerate the opening and closing of trade transactions. Having learned how some of them work, almost anyone can become a successful scalper.

Scalper tools

Almost all existing analysis and transaction tools are suitable for intraday trading. Traders independently adjust their work, adjusting to the specifics of short-term work. There are tools designed specifically for scalpers. Usually they are used by beginners, since they did not have time to form their own trading strategy, therefore they are forced to use other people's developments.

Most scalping tools work with breakouts. That is, using an indicator or a system of various instruments, the user determines the levels, overcoming which the movement will continue in the selected direction. He places orders and monitors market behavior. As the quotes move, it adjusts the levels of placing trade positions.

Favorable offer from the Light-invest company

The company invites beginners and experienced scalpers under the age of 35 to mutually beneficial cooperation to work on the Moscow Exchange. The trader will be able to undergo free training and receive 2.5 million rubles for management. You can trade without risking own funds... If a trader loses trusted funds as a result of unsuccessful work, there is no need to compensate for the losses.

The company provides ideal trading conditions, a constant increase in the size of investments in case of successful work, the transfer of profits to the trader's account in the prescribed manner, constant support and assistance. If you know how to work within a trading day, then you have a chance to significantly increase the level of earnings by taking large capital into management. By increasing the volume of successful trades, you will significantly increase your profits.

Intraday- trade in which deals are opened and closed within one day. As a rule, such trading is called short-term, although it is difficult here to generalize transactions that last, for example, 10 minutes, and positions that are closed after 10 hours.

Intraday Forex trading is very popular. It allows you to conclude a large number of transactions even when working with just one currency pair... As a rule, to engage in intraday trading, a periodic presence at the terminal is required, which not all traders can afford.

If a person is at the computer during the day or has the opportunity to constantly use the terminal, then this type of trading will be possible. If a person cannot follow the development of events in the market, then intraday trading will be available to him only when using a special automatic system in his work.

Advantages of intraday trading:

  • there is no need to follow events that affect the long-term development of the market
  • you can earn more on one trend than with medium-term trading. This is due to the fact that an intraday position can be closed when a short-term market correction begins, and then, when the price resumes in the direction of the global trend, re-enter a deal at a more favorable rate
  • a novice trader will gain trading experience faster than with long-term trading
Disadvantages of intraday trading:
  • the spread begins to play a more important role than in long-term trading. The share of the spread will be more significant against the background of the transaction results in points
  • you have to spend more time at the terminal in order not to miss the moment to open or close a position
You should also consider the situation with news that may affect the market. It is difficult to attribute this point to the advantages or disadvantages of trading within one day, because a lot depends on how a particular trader views news trading. As a rule, when important news comes out, the price moves sharply in one direction. Intraday fans can make money on such a phenomenon.

On the other hand, news that inclines the market towards a gradual drift in one direction in the long term is more appreciated by fans of long-term trading. The very moment of the news release can be a good opportunity for intraday trading.

Objectives of all deals when trading intraday small ones, as a rule, amount to several tens of points. This allows you not to leave an open position for a long time, which means you do not worry about the market reaction to news that should come out tomorrow or in a few days.

Of course, you have to carefully monitor what is happening on the market so as not to miss the signal of your trading system. The situation changes too quickly if you look at it through small time frames. As a rule, intraday trading is carried out on TF = M5 or M15.

Intraday is often considered a difficult type of Forex trading. The point is both in the greater share of spreads regarding the results of transactions, and in the haste that often accompanies such work in the market. Many traders argue that it is calmer and more profitable to conclude long-term transactions, moreover, this will require less attention from the person, and therefore not so much time at the terminal.
