View from the window of a skyscraper. Very beautiful New York from the airplane window

Beautiful panoramas are the main feature of high-rise buildings. There are many tall buildings in Moscow, from the windows of which there is something to see. Moreover, not only Stalin's skyscrapers and Moscow City skyscrapers can boast of good view characteristics. Beautiful views also open from residential buildings - both in the center of Moscow and in residential areas.

Such a “postcard” view of the Kremlin opens from the windows of the legendary House on the Embankment, built in 1931 for representatives of the Soviet elite: party workers, prominent military men, scientists and cultural figures.

And this is how the "square of three stations" looks from the windows of the Hilton hotel (formerly the Leningradskaya hotel, one of the famous Stalinist skyscrapers).

And from the book house closest to the Garden Ring on Novy Arbat, you can see a piece of the center of Moscow along with the skyscraper of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

Residents of the House on Mosfilmovskaya see from their windows the famous round house and a large green area.

But what can be seen from high-rise buildings, located already beyond the Moscow Ring Road - a forest. We think this view is also beautiful. Watch the video.

And we see many skyscrapers and skyscrapers from the windows of the Mail.Ru Group office, but our best views are Leningradsky Prospekt going to the city center and ...

residential complex Triumph Palace in the rays of sunset.

He moved to the USA 10 years ago and has been flying for 10 years! He also flew in Russia, was even a contender for the cosmonaut corps. Sergey offered to fly over New York in a small Cessna, the same one that Matthias Rust landed on Red Square in 1987. Well, how could I refuse such a flight? We made two circles over Manhattan. Shooting at night from a small plane is very difficult, I tell you. But it seems like a lot of good shots) Look!

08. By the way, the WTC is not only twin towers, as some people think, it is 7 buildings. The twin towers, which were destroyed on September 11 15 years ago, were the architectural dominant, but not the only buildings of the center.

27. Do you know why skyscrapers are concentrated only in certain places in Manhattan? All because of the ground. In the central part of the island, soils do not allow the construction of high-rise buildings, so skyscrapers stand in the lower and upper parts, and between them are ordinary low-rise buildings.

28.

29. In the foreground crosses "pradzhekty" - social housing. It used to be quite dangerous to go there. And now it is better not to walk in these areas at night.

"Prajects" always build a large residential complex, very gloomy and dark. They were built in different years. New York generally holds the record for social housing. And this is a big problem on the one hand. Having received an apartment in such a house, people pay rent of about $300 and do not want to do anything. After all, the next step is to rent housing at a commercial rate, and this is already from $ 1,000 per month. Why should a person work, achieve something in life, if he has almost free housing by New York standards? In such high-rise buildings live generations. But politicians like it, because these are voters with whom it is convenient to work. So they are not in a hurry to resettle them.

I saw a lot of views in New York, but this one is the coolest so far. Not so long ago there was a story about - a penthouse on the top floors was sold for 100 million dollars. So the other day I had a unique opportunity to visit this house.

Why unique? Yes, because it is simply impossible to get to such a place without knowing one of the residents. You will not find photos of the interiors of many expensive and famous houses in New York simply because they are not on the Internet. Something may appear during the sale, but even that is rare and will be filmed in such a way that you can’t get an idea of \u200b\u200bhow it really works.

1. View from the outside.

2. Outwardly, I don't like One57 at all. But inside he was much prettier than outside. Quiet, peaceful interiors in soft colors, everything is very concise and at the same time stylish. There is a lot of stone and metal in the decoration. There are screens on the wall that work like living abstract paintings. There is a lot of black and dark brown, but there is no gloom or lack of light. On the contrary, you go inside from the noisy 57th and find yourself in a calm and quiet place, where almost nothing reminds you of the fuss outside the window. I can’t show more photos of the hall, because it’s simply impossible to take pictures there.

3. Elevator hall on the floor. The house is not yet fully finished, so everywhere you can find blue marks, meaning that some kind of flaw has been found there that needs to be fixed. It could be a small chip, scratch, paint smudge, or something else. A special person responsible for quality walks around the house, who, with maniacal zeal, is looking for something else to complain about.

4. There are few apartments in the house (only 92) and when you are inside you get the feeling that you live there alone. Somehow everything is so planned that when you get out of the elevator you don’t even see your neighbor’s door, but you walk along a long corridor to your own. At the same time, there are three elevators in the house. That is, future tenants will not have to wait for it for a long time. In large apartment buildings in Manhattan, the elevator is often the weak link, and any malfunction in its operation leads to huge problems with access to the apartment.

The door to the apartment is at the end of the corridor. As you can see, the carpet has already been laid, and the walls still need to be finished. The carpet is thick and soft. You can't hear footsteps at all.

5. The lower floors of the building are occupied by the Park Hyatt Hotel and this gives the residents of the apartments a whole new level of comfort. They can use all the infrastructure available to hotel guests: swim in the pool, go to the fitness center, give clothes to the laundry, order food from the restaurant and even clean their apartment. Those. you live in your own apartment with the comfort of a high-class hotel. Considering that most of the owners of super-expensive real estate in New York are not local at all, and I visit the city on short trips, then this format should be in great demand for them. This is the interior of the hotel spa. Everything inside is made in approximately the same style.

Residents also have at their disposal a library with billiards and a huge aquarium, event rooms, reception rooms, a small concert hall, a room for washing animals after a walk, their own fitness center and yoga studio. For residents and guests who do not want increased attention to their person, there is a separate entrance from a neighboring street.

6. The hotel pool, which plays music from the nearby Carnegie Hall. Caricature uncles-bourgeois were lying on sunbeds. Belly, bald head and complete lack of attractiveness. They were accompanied by naturally luxurious blondes and brunettes.

7. The door to the apartment for 22 million dollars. The door is the most common wooden.

8. This is the first apartment in New York where I got lost. It has five rooms, an area of 322 square meters. There are still a lot of closets, utility rooms and bathrooms, and they all have almost the same doors. The layout is classic: small bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a huge living room with gorgeous views of Central Park.

9. One of the guest rooms. They are traditionally small.

10. In each window from floor to ceiling.

11. An empty apartment with high ceilings has its own appeal. By the way, pay attention to the finish. The walls and ceiling are painted white. The floor is covered with parquet, which is painted black. All doors are also black.

12. A bathroom in one of the guest bedrooms. The apartment is rented as such. If you want to redo it - your right, but you will get it like that.

13. I traditionally shoot a lot of details, because I know that there are those who are interested in them and will have something to discuss. Now you will know what plumbing is installed in the most expensive house in New York.

14. The apartment has a separate kitchen, which is rare for New York. Yes, and with a hood. This is the first time I see this.

15. I want to say that in general, the kitchen and bathrooms are better than everything else in the apartment. The rooms have a lot to complain about, but the kitchens and bathrooms are nearly flawless.

16. Interesting lamps in the form of drops.

17. Kitchen faucet.

18. The master bathroom is undoubtedly one of the gems of this apartment. With such a look, you will forget that you lathered your head.

19. A tap is like a microphone. You look out the window and sing about how everything is fine in your life.

20. Two washbasins, so as not to push in the morning. The toilet and shower are made in the form of separate rooms (there is on the video), apparently so that you are not distracted by the view, but do what you came for

21. We move to the main room in the apartment. Without him, everything else would be of no interest to anyone.

22. This is the living room. It looks smaller in the photo than in real life. In fact, she is huge. In fact, you can only live in it.

23. And here is what everyone is buying for.

24. The apartment in which I managed to visit is located in the region of the 50th floors. In fact, this is the middle of the house, but I would call the views from its windows excellent. In the apartments below, the view will be blocked by neighboring buildings. Above, some of the details are already lost, and people turn into almost imperceptible dots.

25. If I lived in such an apartment, the first thing I would do is buy a telescope and observe the life of the city around. You feel almost like a deity, sitting on a cloud and watching with a smirk at the useless fuss below.

26. The windows in the apartment open, but at a very small angle. Enough to let fresh air into the room and not enough to fall out. In our case, this became a problem for shooting. Glasses are a little dusty and glare. They saved soap dishes that could be pushed into the slot.

27. Let's see what is visible from the windows. You can see upper Manhattan and even the Bronx.

28. Building of Essex House built in 1931. The sign was placed on the roof a few years later. During its history, the hotel has changed owners many times. It is now owned by Strategic Hotels & Resorts and managed by Marriott. Some of the rooms on the upper floors have been converted into residential apartments. From 1969 until his death in 1971, Igor Stravinsky lived at Essex House.

29. Taking this opportunity, you can look into someone's window. I think a young bachelor lives here.

30. And here is an old woman.

31. . The 37-story residential building with two chimneys and a copper roof was built in 1937. Construction began at the height of the Great Depression, but six months later the developer went bankrupt and abandoned the facility. Construction was resumed only 6 years later.

The house went down in history as the site of one famous suicide. In 1938, 33-year-old Dorothy Hale jumped out of the window of her studio apartment on the sixteenth floor. A month after the suicide, Claire Luce, wife of Time magazine founder Henry Luce, commissioned a portrait of Hale from Frida Kahlo to give to her grieving mother. "No one should forget her," she told Frida. She understood the request in her own way and painted a picture in which the entire process of Hale's suicide was depicted in stages, from the moment she approached the window, how she flew down and how she lay on the sidewalk covered in blood. Luce was so shocked by what she saw that she hid the painting in storage and did not show it to anyone for many years. She lay there until 1960, when she was anonymously donated to the Art Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.

33. Unusual roof of the 38-story of the Barbizon Hotel(now the Trump Park apartment building), built in 1930. The roof was made of reinforced concrete ribs, the space between which was covered with glass tiles. During the day they shone in the sun, and at night they were illuminated from within. During the Second World War, lighting was banned, the roof was rebuilt and made gilded. Now it is painted with the usual yellow paint.

34. Barbizon (from the Barbizon School) was built as an inexpensive apartment hotel for single women (rooms with a private bathroom for extended stays) who came to New York for a new life and could find a calling in acting, painting, sculpture, dance, music, etc. That is, single ladies received not only inexpensive housing and a new profession.

Barbizon was the first apartment hotel in America to combine guest rooms with concert and exhibition halls, studios for artists and sculptors, rooms for dance classes and much more. Men were not allowed beyond the concert hall. In this format, Barbizon lasted until 1980, when it was bought out by new investors and turned into an ordinary hotel where everyone could rent a room. After that, it changed ownership several more times, until it was redeveloped into an apartment building in 2005 and renamed Trump Park.
